Hon. Eric Younger (Ret.)

Years ago, a lawyer asked me if my settlement style was as a "persuader," a "table-pounder," but I told him that I just sort of try to outlast everyone. I have never understood those who attach importance to the terms "mediation" or "settlement conference." At the end of the day, no one will care if we call it a "mediation" or a "tangerine." Every case is different from every other, and I never try to fit one into a pre-planned mold or style.
